Another dismal season for 3/10 veteran: Celtic 2017/18 goalkeepers rated
COMMENT
The goalkeeping situation at Celtic last season was a lot more interesting that many people would have expected it to be.
Craig Gordon started and ended the season as number one, but there were plenty of twists and turns along the way, as Dorus de Vries found himself out in the cold completely.
Whilst Scott Bain came in from nowhere and became a hero in his very first match for the Bhoys, which all but guaranteed the Hoops the league title.
The battle will do no doubt be as fierce next season, as both Gordon and Bain will feel that they should be the Hoops number one, whilst de Vries will be better off finding a new club completely.
Here, Football Insider rates the Hoops goalkeepers in 2017/18:

Craig Gordon – 7/10: Had a solid enough season until injuries caused him plenty of issues in the second-half of the campaign, made some great saves against Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final and returned to the first-team for the Scottish Cup Final.
Dorus de Vries – 3/10: The man who Hoops fans have never held in high regard blotted his copybook for probably the final time, with a dreadful performance against Zenit in the Europa League. He looked awful against the Russian outfit and hasn’t played for the Hoops since, his days at the club look numbered.
Scott Bain – 8/10: Came in on loan from Dundee and became an instant hero with a great performance in a 3-2 win over Rangers at Ibrox. His performances netted him a permanent deal with the Hoops and he looks set to fight with Gordon to become the permanent Hoops goalkeeper next season.
