Arsenal attacker Dan Crowley is wanted by a host of Championship and Bundesliga clubs, according to a report.
ESPN claims that sources close to the 19-year-old have told them that Fulham “have expressed an interest” in the player while the Gunners are set to make a quick decision on his future soon.
Aside from Arsenal’s London rivals Fulham, it is also understood that Hannover are one of the German outfits interested in acquiring Crowley’s services.
ESPN’s sources have told them that clubs are eyeing up both loan and permanent moves for the attacking midfielder, who spent the second half of last season on loan in the Dutch Eredivise with Go Ahead Eagles.
He made 16 appearances for them in all competitions, scoring twice and supplying two assists.
Crowley, who can also be deployed as a striker, spent the autumn and winter months of the 2016/17 season on a temporary deal with Oxford United, where he played 11 times and scored three goals.
The four-times England Under-19 international moved to Arsenal from Aston Villa in 2014 but is yet to make a competitive senior appearance for the club despite being one of the highest-rated players in the Gunners’ youth set-up.
Football Insider Verdict
Crowley definitely has the potential to be a good Premier League footballer in the future but it doesn’t seem as though he might be able to do it with Arsenal. At the age of 19, you would expect him to have at least a handful of senior appearances by now if he is to become a top player in the future, but lack of action has seriously hindered his progress. Loan moves to Oxford and Go Ahead weren’t the best places for him to go but a move to the Bundesliga or Championship will definitely aid his development. Fulham is a good place to go for young players while he has already earned experienced of playing top-level European football in Holland.
In other Arsenal news, the Gunners are joint favourites with Tottenham to sign this Bundesliga winger.
