Arsenal expert issues '£12m' Bernd Leno verdict after journalist's talks update
Arsenal would do “really well” to get £12million for Bernd Leno this summer, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Gunners and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the London club are more likely to get £10million for the 30-year-old.
Leno has just over 12 months remaining on his contract at the Emirates.
According to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein (11 June), Fulham are in talks to sign the German goalkeeper but a deal is yet to be agreed.
The ex-Bayer Leverkusen shot-stopper is said to be keen on staying in London, where he has resided for four years.
When asked by Football Insider how much Leno was worth to Mikel Arteta’s side, Campbell said: “If they can get £10million for him, I think that is good business.

“Leno has been at Arsenal four years or so. He has had some good times and good seasons.
“If they were to get £12million for him I think they’ve done really well. I think £10million is about right for a player in his situation.
“It is time to get him off the books and move him on though. We have already signed his replacement.”
Arsenal signed Matt Turner from New England Revolution earlier this year and the goalkeeper is set to be the new number two at the Emirates.
The 27-year-old has been capped by the USA on 18 occasions.
