Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is seeking a pay rise and a new contract, according to a report.
Goal claim the Arsenal winger is seeking a deal which will offer him £100,000 a week and will put him on the same wage as Hector Bellerin.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled to nail down a regular starting position in the Arsenal first team this season and his future has come under speculation with 18 months of his deal remaining.
According to the report, the winger is aware of Bellerin’s wage and he wants to be offered a similar deal, increasing his current earnings by an extra £35,000 a week.
Arsene Wenger faces a battle to agree deals with a number of top Arsenal stars including Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Laurent Koscielny, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23, has struggled to gain a place ahead of Theo Walcott this season and he faces further competition from Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez.
If he fails to agree a considerably improved contract, it is likely Oxlade-Chamberlain may opt for a move away from Arsenal in an attempt to seek out regular first team football.
Since joining in 2011, the contract rebel has made 115 Premier League appearances and has scored just nine goals in the top flight.
In other Arsenal news, the club are close to sealing a deal for this non-league winger.
