Sources: Arsenal told £60m Victor Osimhen offer will be accepted
Arsenal will have to offer over £60million to stand a chance of signing Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen before the window closes, sources have told Football Insider.
The Gunners have long been linked to swoop for Osimhen and may firm up their interest with a concrete offer for his services in the coming weeks.
Recent reports have claimed that Arsenal have enquired about his availability during discussions with Galatasaray over Gabriel Martinelli potentially moving to the Super Lig giants.
Any deal to take him to the Emirates Stadium would likely be done separately to Martinelli heading the other way.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, Arsenal must make an offer of over £60m to stand a chance of landing Osimhen this summer.
The 27-year-old signed a four-year deal with Gala last summer and registered 28 goal contributions in 33 appearances in his first season as a permanent player.

Osimhen would likely become Arsenal's highest-paid player, as he currently rakes in over £300,000 in weekly wages at Galatasaray.
He has proven himself in several European leagues and could be on his way to North London if the Gunners decide he is what they need to pursue glory on all fronts this season.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “Yeah, the overall package of the deal is probably where it'll really cost. I think the transfer fee won't be too high. You're probably looking at £60m plus, I think that Galatasaray would accept for him, but he's on a huge deal over there in Turkey. I think it's over £300,000 a week.
“So yeah, it would be a large outlay for Arsenal if they do go ahead and sign Osimhen. Really exciting move if they do bring him in because he's been linked with moves to the Premier League for such a long time now, and nothing's really ever happened with him before."

While a new striker may well be on the agenda, Mikel Arteta is prioritising a move to sign a first-choice left winger this summer.
