Sources: New Noni Madueke plan at Arsenal revealed
Mikel Arteta does not want to sell Noni Madueke despite his lack of game time at the start of this season, sources have told Football Insider.
Madueke has only featured off the bench for the Gunners in the Premier League so far this term.
He scored his first goal of the campaign in a midweek Carabao Cup win over Ipswich, but is looking for more game time as the season progresses.
The England international winger has been linked away from the Emirates with the January transfer window on the horizon.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, Arteta has no plans to lose him midway through the season as Arsenal look to compete for silverware on all four fronts.
Madueke featured heavily in their respective runs to the Champions League and Carabao Cup finals last term and is likely to be a key player in those competitions once more.

Sources have exclusively told Football Insider that Madueke is attracting attention from Juventus and Atletico Madrid ahead of the next window.
As it stands, Arteta will block any approaches for his services, while Madueke is keen to fight for his place in the starting eleven.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "I still think he's got a role to play for Arsenal. He maybe finds himself playing a bit of a back-up role right now because of Bukayo Saka being fully fit.
"I'm sure Mikel Arteta will still be counting on Noni Madueke just in case of injuries or something like that, because Arsenal are going to be competing on all fronts this season and he will want to keep hold of the squad as he wants to add more silverware to the club's trophy room come the end of the season."
Arsenal want Nico Paz but face challenge to seal move
Arsenal's links to new wingers throughout the summer have also fuelled rumours of Madueke possibly proving to be surplus to requirements.
Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Como star Paz is on the Gunners' radar, but they are behind Real Madrid in the race for his services.
Paz is an attacking midfielder by trade but can also play on the right wing, and may well favour a return to Madrid after coming through their youth ranks before joining Como in 2024.
