Arsenal fans will love what Igor Tudor said about signing 'golden boy'
Arsenal are reportedly chasing Juventus star Kenan Yildiz this summer in what could be a sensational late signing at the Emirates.
Reports emerged on Friday that the Gunners are preparing to make a bid for the attacking midfielder after missing out on Vinicius Junior.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the best talents in the Serie A and has often earned plaudits for his performances.
Last season, in the Serie A alone, he scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 36 matches.
However, even before the 2025-26 campaign, he was putting in quality displays for the Old Lady.
Back in 2025, his form won particular praise from Igor Tudor, back when the former Tottenham manager was in charge of Juventus.
Igor Tudor: Kenan Yildiz is a golden boy
After joining Juventus in 2022, it was not long until Yildiz established himself as a first-team player.
After making his debut at the start of the 2023-24 campaign, the forward has since made 131 appearances for the Italian giants and has scored 27 goals.
As a result, praise has come in far and wide for the Turkey international, with Tudor being one such admirer.
At the 2025 Club World Cup, Yildiz scored twice as Juventus beat Wydad Casablanca 4-1 in the round of 16.
After the game, Tudor spoke with DAZN via Reuters on 22 June 2025 and was quick to praise the youngster.
He said: "It was a different game in terms of pace and timing (than the 5-0 win against Al Ain in their opener).
“We scored early on, but in football you always have to be careful in every situation, regardless of the result.
“(Yildiz) will decide how far he can go. He has important qualities at his disposal; he has pace and ideas, as well as a great mentality. Plus, he's a golden boy."
If the transfer is completed this summer, this will no doubt excite the Arsenal faithful, as it is clear that Yildiz has plenty of qualities that Mikel Arteta can utilise.

Despite links away, Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Arsenal have no intentions of selling Myles Lewis-Skelly this summer.
This is coming from former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown, who believes that the defender is part of Arteta’s plans for the upcoming season.
Chelsea and Man United have both been linked with a move for the 19-year-old in recent weeks.
However, it appears that Lewis-Skelly will be staying at the Emirates for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign as the Gunners look to defend their Premier League crown this season.
