Bradley Barcola is surely set for a move to Arsenal this summer after Aston Villa reaffirmed that Morgan Rogers is not for sale.

The Birmingham outfit have reportedly made it clear to clubs interested in the England international that they will not welcome any bids for their star man.

Arsenal were said to be leading the race for his signature, but any chance of signing Rogers now appears to be over.

As a result, the Gunners will surely now focus their full attention on Barcola to reinforce their wing after this disappointment surrounding Rogers.

The 23-year-old was unable to force himself into PSG’s starting XI towards the end of the season, and Football Insider revealed that the Champions League holders are prepared to let Barcola leave this summer.

Now that Liverpool have shifted focus to other targets, Arsenal have been given the green light to accelerate a move, something that now feels inevitable.

Bradley Barcola could be Arsenal’s first major signing of the summer

Since winning the Premier League title, Piero Hincapie has been Arsenal’s only summer signing, with the defender making a permanent switch to the Emirates.

With Mikel Arteta having a clear aim to upgrade his winger department, Barcola could be the man.

The PSG star has already impressed in the 2026 World Cup, having scored past Senegal, and could now become the Gunners’ first major signing of the summer if Sky Sports’ report about Rogers is true.

Despite his limited game time last season, the winger still netted 11 Ligue 1 goals, and if these skills were transferred to the Premier League, he could become a real asset.

Who else are Arsenal looking to sign this summer?

Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Arsenal are also looking to sign Jeremy Monga this summer transfer window.

Preliminary talks have been held between player's camp over a deal, with a full agreement edging closer.

The 16-year-old broke into the Foxes’ first team last season and netted once and picked up two assists as the club fell into the third tier.

Monga is highly rated at Leicester, and Arteta will be hoping that he can reach his potential at the Gunners as the manager continues to develop young players into stars at the Emirates.
