Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has revealed he expects attacker Rolando Aarons back from injury in a “few weeks”.
The 21-year-old has been plagued with a serious knee injury for the majority of the season and has made just five appearances.
However, Benitez has explained he expects the Englishman back in the next few weeks, as cited by the Chronicle’s chief sports writer Lee Ryder on his personal Twitter account.

Aarons has had to watch Newcastle from the sidelines this season while he recovers from a huge injury setback, but is finally on the verge of a comeback.
The pacy winger has waited patiently and could now play a role in the club’s automatic promotion charge, despite being initially ruled out for the entire season.

He was relegated from the Premier League with the Magpies last season and will want to be involved in their return.
Benitez’s side are currently at the top of the Championship and are nine points above third-placed Huddersfield, who have played a game less.
Newcastle turn their attention to a home match against Fulham on Saturday and can expect a tough visit from the play-off hopefuls.
They suffered a 1-0 defeat against Fulham on the opening day of the season, a match that Aarons featured in as a substitute.
