Arsenal are the favourites to sign Barcelona winger Arda Turan, according to the latest bookmakers odds.
Popular betting company Sky Bet have priced the 30-year-old winger at 2/1 to swap the Nou Camp for the Emirates Stadium before September 3.
Italian giants Inter Milan and Ligue 1 champions Monaco (16/1) are both outsiders for Turan’s signature.
During his career, Turkey international Turan has won two La Liga titles, three Spanish Cups, as well as winning domestic trophies in his home country.
Turan moved to Barcelona during the summer of 2015 from the club’s La Liga rivals Athletico Madrid.
However, since his move to the club, he has struggled to earn regular game time and, as a result, perform for the club.
He has made 55 matches in all competitions for Barca, scoring 15 goals and supplying 11 assists for the Spanish giants.
Arsenal recently endured a difficult campaign in England’s top flight which resulted in manager Arsene Wenger missing out on a Champions League place.
The Frenchman did end the season with an FA Cup win, but it is highly likely that he will now be looking to make changes to his squad after a poor season overall.
Turan has played in Spain and Turkey during his career and the versatile attacker currently has three years left on his current deal.
In the latest Arsenal news, Robert Pires has explained what the club must do next season.
