Betting latest: Leeds installed in running to sign international centre-forward (not Martin)

Leeds United have been installed in the running to sign Ipswich centre-forward David McGoldrick during the January transfer window, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
BetVictor have priced Leeds as 6/1 joint third-favourites to sign McGoldrick, 30, before the end of month.
Cardiff (2/1) have been made favourites to sign the Republic of Ireland intentional while Birmingham (4/1) have been installed as second-favourites to snap up the former Southampton forward.

Leeds and Fulham are both joint third favourites to sign McGoldrick after the bookmakers opened the betting on the 30-year-old to leave Portman Road this month.
The Ipswich striker has made 21 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals and supplying four assists in the process.
He has started to play a move reserve role in the attacking midfield or on the left wing, but his traditional position would see him play as a striker, spearheading an attack.
Leeds Thomas Christiansen has previously hinted that he would be willing to sign a new centre-forward during this month, which is perhaps due to his summer signings failing to impress.
Freelance reporter Joe Rawson claimed on his personal Twitter account on Monday that Leeds had made enquiries about Derby’s Chris Martin, but Football Insider can has exclusively revealed that their bid to sign the Scotland international is over.
In other Leeds United news, this £1.5million player is highly likely to leave Elland Road this month.
