Tottenham have been installed as the clear favourites to sign AC Milan attacker Suso this summer, according to the latest betting odds.
Sky Bet have priced Mauricio Pochettino’s team at 11/4 to sign the 23-year-old right-winger before the September transfer deadline.
Fellow Premier League side Liverpool trail someway behind Spurs at a price of 9/1, while European duo Monaco and Sevilla sit on odds of 16/1 with Valencia also named in the running with a price of 25/1.
Tottenham have been priced as favourites after it was claimed by Calcio Mercato that the Italian giants had turned down an opening offer of £19.4million for Suso.
It is also detailed in the Mercato report that Suso has no plans to leave the San Siro this summer, but Milan’s resolve could also be tested if Spurs lodge a bid of around £22million.
Suso himself has previously spent five years in England with Liverpool after joining the Reds’ academy setup in 2010.
He ended up playing 21 times for the Merseyside giants’ first team, which included 14 appearances in the Premier League before moving to Milan in January 2015.
The attacker has since returned seven goals and 12 assists in 45 appearances for AC Milan and Pochettino could see him as player of talent and potential who he could also fit into his first team.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Spurs have asked a Premier League side to be kept informed over wing star.
