Now, Koeman certainly knows the capabilities of Cedric well after he played in 27 matches for the Dutchman in his debut season in England in the last campaign.
He has since played a part in helping Portugal lift the European Championships cup in France in the summer and he has played in 20 of Southampton’s 27 league matches this season.
With the amount of big clubs also in the running to sign Cedric, it may prove difficult for Everton, but he could be enitced by working with a former boss and regular first team football.
In other Everton transfer news, the Toffees could be offered £40million and a prolific international in exchange for star Romelu Lukaku.
