Everton to be offered £40m cash and prolific international in exchange for Lukaku - report

Chelsea are ready to offer £40million cash plus Michy Batshuayi in exchange for Romelu Lukaku, according to a report.
The Express claim the runaway Premier League leaders are preparing a bid worth £70million for Lukaku in this summer’s window.
It is said that Chelsea are ready to test Everton’s resolve with a mammoth offer that would include striker Batshuayi in a player-plus-cash swap.
Lukaku has made it clear that he intends to quit Goodison Park after rebuffing the club’s attempts to sign a new contract to replace his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2019.
Speaking ahead of Belgium’s World Cup qualifiers, the 23-year-old spelled out his hopes, saying: “It’s done. I want to win titles and trophies. That’s not being arrogant, just ambitious. There is nothing wrong with ambition, you need to embrace it.”

Lukaku tops the Premier League scoring charts with 21 goals this season and his total haul of 22 from 30 matches in all competitions has provided further evidence of his calibre.
Batshuayi has been on the fringes of the Chelsea side since his £32million transfer from Marseille as he has been forced to play second fiddle to Diego Costa.
But the 23-year-old has still scored five goals from 22 appearances, most of which were as a substitute, and has showed glimpses of the prolific form he displayed at former club Marseille, where he netted 23 times in 50 matches last season.
Batshuayi has also scored three goals in nine matches for the Belgium national team.
In other Everton transfer news, the club are clear favourites to sign a 27-goal striker topping the scoring charts.
