Rangers forward sets himself target after agreeing deal
Rangers forward Josh Windass has set himself a target of 20 goals this season after penning a new three-and-a-half year deal with the Ibrox giants.
The former Accrington ace has committed his future to the Gers until 2021 and revealed the target he had set.
The 24-year-old has already hit the net 12 times this season – with 11 coming in his last 17 games – but wants to hit the 20 mark to round off a personally successful season.
“I want to hit 20 goals this season, so hopefully I can get that before end of the campaign. It’s a big ask but hopefully I can do it,” Windass said, as quoted by the Gers’ official Twitter account.

The attacker has scored 12 times in 30 appearances this season after a disappointing debut season but the son of former Hull striker Dean is showing the sort of form Gers fans were told to expect.
Windass joins James Tavernier in agreeing new deals this week with both tying themselves to the club until 2021 as manager Graeme Murty and director of football Mark Allen look to secure vital first-team members on long-term contracts.
Windass joined Rangers from Accrington in 2016 alongside Matt Crooks and cost the Light Blues around £60,000 in training compensation.
The 24-year-old has made 57 appearances altogether for the Gers scoring 13 times and contributing 13 assists.
In other Rangers news, a stunning £50,000-a-week deal is on offer to a Light Blues first teamer in game-changing development.
