Tottenham senior staffer drops big hint about Kane fitness for Real Madrid clash
By Guy Giles
Harry Kane has returned to training this morning as Tottenham Hotspur gear up for their crucial Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Wednesday night, and a big hint has been dropped to suggest the striker will be fit to line up against Los Blancos.
As reported by the Daily Mirror, Tottenham’s sport scientist James Redden posted a picture to Twitter on Monday evening showing the APEX live feedback watch, a piece of gear used by Premier League clubs to provide data on players during training.
The picture shows the device alongside a receiver with Kane’s squad number ‘10’ on it, and the watch shows that Kane completed a mammoth 1,443 metres of sprinting during the session.
These figures would suggest that Tottenham’s star man is well on his way back to full fitness after suffering an injury to his left hamstring during their 4-1 win over Liverpool.

Spurs will surely need the services of their top scorer against the defending champions after losing consecutive matches to West Ham and Manchester United in Kane’s absence.
Spurs meet Real at Wembley after securing a massive away point last time out in the competition, with a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu leaving both teams perfectly level at the top of the Group H standings.
A win for either team would effectively secure progress to the knockout stages, and Spurs will be hoping Kane can recover his fine form and fire them to a famous win after his short injury layoff.
In other Tottenham news, the club are reportedly lining up a January swoop for this Premier League flyer.
