Outspoken pundit and former Premier League striker Chris Sutton praised Tottenham star Dele Alli as a “big game player” during Sunday’s win against Arsenal.

Spurs hosted their fierce north London rivals for the last time ever at White Hart Lane earlier in the afternoon and the match went to plan with goals from each of Alli and Harry Kane sending them on their way to victory.

It was not an unusual performance from Alli either with the 21-year-old proving to be a consistent performer for Spurs as the club sit in second place in the Premier League table.

The youngster has also often been picked out for praise from pundits and fans alike and on Sunday, BT Sport pundit Sutton applauded him via his personal Twitter account, calling him a big game player.

Alli seemingly has not looked back since breaking into the Tottenham team at the start of the last campaign and this season he has returned a stunning 16 goals and seven assists in 32 Premier League appearances for the north London club.
