Bojan Miovski exit inevitable as Rangers look to seal Lorent Tolaj transfer
Bojan Miovski has had a dreadful time at Rangers since his summer transfer.
Despite previously being a hit at Aberdeen, the striker has simply been incapable of scoring goals at a consistent rate.
The 26-year-old has only netted seven Scottish Premiership goals to date this season, with the lack of clinical finishing contributing to Rangers’ trophyless season.
With goals being an issue for the Gers all year long, it is no surprise that they are being linked to other strikers, with Plymouth Argyle’s Lorent Tolaj the latest name linked.
As a result, Miovski will surely leave Rangers, with minutes already hard to come by at Ibrox.

Miovski is already struggling for minutes at Rangers.
The striker has rarely started under Danny Rohl, with Youssef Chermiti often preferred.
| Lorent Tolaj’s League One stats this season | Per 90 minutes |
| Goals | 0.58 |
| xG | 0.59 |
| Shots | 3.67 |
| Shots on target | 1.53 |
| Chances created | 1.30 |
| Assists | 0.26 |
| xA | 0.15 |
As a result, Miovski has been forced to try and make an impact from the bench, something he has rarely done successfully.
If Tolaj is brought in from Plymouth, he will likely become an instant starter, with the striker rarely struggling for goals in League One.
This season, he netted 18 times in the English third tier, making him a considerable upgrade on their current options.
With Rangers not willing to sell Chermiti this window unless a big offer comes in, this makes an Miovski exit inevitable.
The striker would receive little to no minutes, and it makes sense for both parties to simply part ways.
If not, Rangers risk having an unhappy player on their hands, and potentially losing thousands in transfer value.
How much would Tolaj cost Rangers?
Football Insider exclusively revealed that Tolaj would cost Rangers £5million this summer if they want to complete the deal.
He is expected to leave the League One club after they failed to reach the playoffs and subsequently win promotion.
Several clubs are reportedly interested, with Rangers considering a bid over the coming months.
The 24-year-old is currently on their shortlist. However, it remains to be seen if the Gers are happy to spend so much on a player from the third tier of English football, and if they are able to win the race if they do submit a bid.
