Premier League clubs are sending scouts to watch Sturm Graz star Jacob Peter Hodl against Bournemouth, sources have told Football Insider.

A number of clubs from the English top flight and the Championship are keen to watch the 19-year-old, who has earned rave reviews in Austria, in person at the Vitality Stadium.

The creative attacking midfielder was subject to offers from German Bundesliga sides during the summer window, but saw multiple bids rejected by Sturm Graz.

Hodl's impressive performances in Europe so far this season have alerted a number of top-flight clubs to his potential, with his suitors now preparing to cash an eye over him.

The Austria international is beloieved to be valued around the £8.5million mark by his club, as he is regarded as one of the best young prospects to emerge in recent years.

Holdl has already made 60 appearances for Sturm Graz since making his debut in April 2025, and the club are now bracing to receive offers, despite two years remaining on his deal.

Could Premier League clubs move to sign Jacob Peter Hodl?

Hodl is attracting Premier League suitors thanks to his performances in Austria, on the international stage, and in the Europa League ahead of the clash against Bournemouth.

He can play as a winger or as a number ten, which is seen as a valuable asset by his potential suitors, who feel he could add quality to their squad in the near future.

The teenager is also regarded as a long-term prospect, with high hopes for his future development, and a move to the Premier League could be the ideal next step in his career.

Championship clubs are also keeping a close eye on Hodl's progress, and could offer him the oppotunity to switch to English football without the immediate jump into the top flight.

They will feel they can provide a better pathway for his development, with his form in Austria having convinced many that he will be one of the country's best players in the future.

Which Bournemouth stars will be watched vs Sturm Graz?

Hodl will not be the only player being watched when Bournemouth face Sturm Graz in the Europa League, with the game set to showcase a number of sought-after talents.

While the Sturm Graz sensation is set to be high on most scouts' list, the Cherries also have their fair share of star players attracting interest from potential suitors.

Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider last month that the Red Devils have been keeping a close eye on the progress of Adrien Truffert in recent months.

The 24-year-old has emerged on the radar at Man United thanks to his impressive performances in the Premier League since joining Bournemouth last summer.

Michael Carrick's side are aiming to sign a new left-back, and the Bournemouth star is said to be firmly on their radar with a potential move in mind.
