Tottenham teen sensation Jamie Bowden is close to agreeing a new contract with the club, Football Insider can reveal.
The highly rated central midfielder, 18, has earned rave reviews for his performances at youth-team level and is regarded as a first XI star of the future.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club are in “advanced talks” with Bowden over a long-term contract and an agreement is near.
The deal could run for three-and-a-half years until the summer of 2023.

Bowden travelled with the senior squad for their epic Champions League quarter-final win over Manchester City in April and was pictured in the team celebrations afterwards.
He also joined the first team for their pre-season tour of Asia in the summer as ex-boss Mauricio Pochettino recognised his immense potential.
The Irish Londoner has represented England are age-group level but is also eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland.
The imminent new deal for Bowden comes as Tottenham also work on tying his fellow rising star Troy Parrott to a new contract.
