Sources: Fabian Hurzeler's stance on Brighton exit revealed
Fabian Hurzeler is "happy" at Brighton and has no plans to leave any time soon, sources have told Football Insider.
The German has been heavily linked with the Manchester United manager's job in recent weeks, but remains fully committed to the project at the Amex Stadium.
The Seagulls also remain relaxed about Hurzeler's future at the moment, and are enjoying their hugely positive start to the new campaign.
Sources say that Brighton are keen to keep hold of the 33-year-old for "as long as possible," and he is not ready to jump ship just yet.
The former St Pauli boss is seeing his stock rise with every passing game at the moment, and he has firmly established himself as one of the Premier League's brightest coaches.
His team haven't even conceded a goal in the league since 5 September, and they are now sitting third in the early-season table.
Fabian Hurzeler picks up where he left off after award
Hurzeler survived pressure at times last season, but there has been no such suggestion of that this time around.
His side have started the new campaign in fine form, and have already won a staggering six games by three or more goals in all competitions.
Brighton's electric start saw their boss collect the Premier League's Manager of the Month award for September, and they have shown no signs of slowing down in October either.
The South Coast outfit are yet to concede so far this month, and topped off their impressive run with a 5-0 demolition of bitter rivals Crystal Palace last weekend.
Their form is beginning to attract ever-growing interest from Old Trafford, but Hurzeler and Brighton are both prepared to hold their nerve if that interest becomes concrete.
Hurzeler warned against Man United move
Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness told Football Insider earlier in October that Hurzeler should be "worried" about potentially moving to Manchester United.
The boardroom expert pointed towards the "great machine" that owner Tony Bloom has built at Brighton, and believes it has provided a perfect platform for Hurzeler to succeed.
However, Wyness is in no doubt that the lack of stability at United in recent years would not be conducive to him continuing that success if he were to move.
The Scottish businessman feels that a jump to Old Trafford may not be as easy as many people would expect, and urged Hurzeler to stay put for now.
