Bruce makes emphatic Aston Villa midfielder transfer decision

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has dismissed any potential deal concerning Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere during the summer transfer window.
When asked whether the 25-year-old will be joining forces with him at Villa Park, as quoted in the Birmingham Mail, Bruce replied: “I don’t know where that comes from.”
This comes after the Mirror recently reported that the Championship side had made enquires for the England international this summer.
Arsenal supporters will surely be delighted with the Villa manager’s response as the midfielder produced some impressive performances in the Premier League last season during his loan spell with Bournemouth.
Wilshere featured in 29 league matches last season, contributing with two assists and helping Bournemouth secure a top-half finish in the Premier League table for the first time in their history.

The dynamic midfielder suffered a serious leg injury in the latter stages of the season but he has since made his return to the field, playing more than 70 minutes for the Arsenal Under-23 side last week.
Villa could certainly use a player with Wilshere’s quality at the moment as they have failed to win any of their opening three domestic fixtures this season.
Wilshere currently has one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
