BT Sport pundit Kevin Davies questioned goalkeeper Loris Karius’ decision after conceding Liverpool’s first goal in the Saturday evening clash with Crystal Palace.
Palace midfielder James McAtrhur equalised for the south London club after looping a header over Karius during the match at Selhurst Park.
The goal drew criticism for both defender Dejan Lovren and goalkeeper Karius and former Premier League forward Davies took to his personal Twitter account, asking why he didn’t use his hands.

Despite the German’s error goals from Emre Can, Lovren and Joel Matip, Roberto Firmino ensured the Reds victory in a 4-2 win over Palace.
Karius earned the backing from manager Jurgen Klopp in the week, who revealed he’s his number one, but the 23-year-old will be well aware of the presence of Simon Mignolet.
Following his move from Mainz in the summer the shot stopper has made six appearances for Liverpool conceding five goals and keeping two clean sheets.
Despite the questions still held over a position which has caused Liverpool problems for years they currently sit in third place in the Premier League table.
The Reds are currently level with Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the league with the trio sat on 23 points each after 10 fixtures.
In other Liverpool news, Ryan Giggs has said that this is what Liverpool are missing ahead of their title challenge.
