Campbell 'wowed' by reported update on 'huge' Man City bid for Kane
Tottenham should snap Man City’s hands off is they offer £130million plus Bernardo Silva for Harry Kane, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Arsenal and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested Kane, 27, is not for sale at any price were Spurs not to accept that offer.
According to the Daily Mail (August 7th), City are willing to offer £130million plus Bernardo Silva to prize Kane away from north London.
However, the Premier League champions, who have already seen a bid of £100million rejected for last season’s Golden Boot winner, will refuse to pay £150million cash.
Tottenham are in a strong position in negotiations with three years still to run on Kane’s current contract.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if the offer aforementioned would likely be enough to get a deal over the line, Campbell said:

“Wow, now that would be a great deal for Spurs, that is for sure because Bernardo Silva is a fantastic player.
“The question is, will Spurs bite? That is the key. I don’t think Daniel Levy is going to make compromises over this one.
“£130million plus Silva is a lot of money plus a top player. Now if that does not get the juices flowing for Spurs, I really do not know what will. Huge.”
Kane returned to Spurs training this week after clarifying in a statement why he did not report back at the same time as the rest of the squad.
Nuno Espirito Santo told Sky Sports that the England captain is available for Sunday’s game against Man City.
