Talking to the press ahead of Celtic’s game against Ross County on Saturday, Brendan Rodgers discussed a variety of subjects.
One of these was the form of French striker Moussa Dembele, who scored a 12 minute hat-trick for France Under-21s this week.
Speaking to Celtic’s official twitter account, Rodgers’ opinion is that it is only a matter of time before Dembele graduates to the main French squad.
“I think, in time, he will,” Rodgers said. “No doubt he has the belief and the talent which he’s shown at Champions League level.
“He can do no more than what he is doing; scoring goals for club and country.
“He took his goals well [for France]. He’s an outstanding talent.”

His season ended prematurely though injury though he still scored 32 goals in total.
This season started off with Dembele facing more injury issues, as a recurrence of a hamstring kept him out for over a month.
