Paul Robinson has tipped Cameron Carter-Vickers to be one of many Tottenham casualties this summer.

The former White Hart Lane number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested a number of players will be shown the exit door to make room for new signings.

This site revealed on Saturday that Carter-Vickers, who is currently on loan at Bournemouth, will be allowed to leave the club permanently in the summer.

This is despite a fine run of form at the promotion hopefuls after overcoming early-season injury issues.

Coaching staff are said to regard the right-back as “uncoachable” and the club will therefore try to offload him for the second consecutive summer.

When asked for his assessment of Carter-Vickers' future in north London, Robinson told Football Insider:

"I think Carter-Vickers will leave Spurs this summer and I think he will be among others.

"The summer is fast approaching and it is a big window for Spurs. There has been a lot of upheaval over the past 12 months and I think this summer will be really important.

"Jose Mourinho has time to assess his squad and look at who he will clear out to make room for new faces. I think there will be a lot of movement in and out at Spurs in the next window.

"Yes, they have a very strong squad but there are a few he would like to move out and that will pave the way for new signings."
