Celtic ace Griffiths issues brilliant putdown to trolling Rangers fan on Twitter
By Harvey Byrne
Celtic forward Leigh Griffiths has issued a brilliant putdown to a trolling Rangers fan, by remarking that he will be ready to lift the Premiership title when it comes.
The 26-year-old Hoops ace is currently on international duty with Scotland as they prepare to face Slovenia in their World Cup qualifying group.
But, one Rangers fan named ‘Smiling Pedro’ decided to take the opportunity to troll the striker on Sunday, stating that he would be out of Gordon Strachan’s side’s match with a wrist injury due to the amount of mothers day cards he had to write, alluding to him having a lot of children from different women.
However, active social media user Griffiths took it as an opportunity to deliver the perfect response, responding on his personal Twitter account that he would be back to lift the title.

The two Old Firm rivals have a long history of competing with each other for the league title.
However, Rangers’ demotion has allowed Celtic to become the dominant club and the Gers will be hoping new boss Pedro Caixinha can hope plug the current gap.
In other Celtic news, this midfielder has signed after the Hoops agreed terms.
