Calvin Miller stared on his debut for Celtic as they beat Partick Thistle 1-0 on Tuesday night – and fans on Twitter have hailed the next success story of the club.
Scott Sinclair scored the only goal of the game after 16 minutes, with his first-half strike sending the Glasgow club 14 points clear at the top of the table in the Scottish Premiership.
Versatile player Miller, who is an attacker, played at left-back for the Hoops as he played 63 minutes at Celtic Park, before being replaced by Emilio Izaguirre.
Fans on social media were impressed with the performance of the 18-year-old as they hailed the youngster during his competitive debut.
Additionally supporters stated that the academy product looked very promising during his 63 minutes on the field.
Fans hailed his bright and energetic style as Rodgers side recorded their 12th win on the bounce in the SPL.
However, one supporter did laugh off the fact that Rodgers played Miller, who is a winger, in a more defensive role at the back.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Good debut for Miller…promising look for the 19-year-old.
Izagurrie on for him in 62nd minute.

Definitely a sharper performance so far from Celtic. Impressed by both Miller and Henderson. Really bright and energetic.

Celtic are unbeaten in all domestic competitions this term, following former Liverpool boss Rodgers joining the club in the summer.
He has already lifted silverware with the Bhoys, winning the Scottish League Cup in November, when they beat Aberdeen 3-0 at Hampden Park.
The Hoops have also beaten their Old Firm rivals Rangers on two occasions this season, the most convincing win being the 5-1 hammering in September.
In other Celtic news, this defender was torn apart during the 1-0 win against Hamilton.
