'Outstanding', 'Brilliant' - Celtic fans react as striker issues response to media speculation

Leigh Griffiths dismissed the notion that he was unhappy at Celtic due to his lack of gametime on social media, and fans praised the striker’s response.

The Scottish Sun posted quotes about Brendan Rodgers being unsure whether Griffiths was unhappy about not playing, and the striker was not impressed.

Griffiths posted a simple message of ‘NAW Iv no” to the suggestion, before calling the reporters muppets.

The striker believes Rodgers knows he’s not sulking over only making one start since October and reassured fans.

Further down in the article by the Scottish Sun it ironically quotes Griffiths as saying that he “doesn’t look at the media”, he just focuses on himself.

Griffiths has scored five goals in 25 appearances across all competitions this season, with his last goal being the winner against Ross County in November.
