'Liability', 'Finished' - Celtic fans tear into one player after win v Rangers
By Danny Wright
Although Celtic took home the Old Firm bragging rights on Saturday, fans were less than pleased with the performance of Mikael Lustig and blasted the player on Twitter.
Brendan Rodgers’ men ran out 2-0 winners at Ibrox thanks to second-half strikes from Tom Rogic and derby day hero Leigh Griffiths.
Lustig, 30, played the entire 90 minutes at right-back as Celtic finally had the central defensive options to play four at the back as Dedryck Boyata and Jozo Simunovic were named in the starting line-up next to each other for the first time this season.
Hoops supporters weren’t overly keen on how the big Swede performed on Saturday afternoon though, and took to Twitter to tear into him.
One even said that the senior player’s poor form means that he is “finished” as a footballer.

Lustig worst player on the park. Time to phase him out & play Ralston more often.

Armstrong/Brown brilliant for me, more needed from Griff & Sinclair but it will come! Could & should be at least 2 up – Lustig again a worry

Lustig has been ever-present for Celtic this season, making 13 appearances across all competitions, varying between playing at right-back or as a centre-back as Rodgers tried to contend with his defensive injury problems.
Anthony Ralston is a player who is potentially putting pressure on the Sweden international for his spot in the first-team after the youngster had an impressive showing against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League earlier this month.
In other Celtic news, West Brom winger and Bhoys supporter James McClean fired a huge dig at Rangers before the Old Firm win.
