And Kenny predicted thtt the two-times Premier League champion will be a hit at Parkhead.
“I don’t think signing him is a gamble,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“If I was a Celtic fan, I’d be buzzing to have got someone like him in. They need a keeper and they’ve had a lot of problems with Barkas.
“He’s been on the bench recently so that shows they’re not having him at the minute.
“So to get Joe Hart in, you’ve got to love that as a signing. He’ll do really well at that level.
“He’s not had a proper home or played a lot of games since he left City.
“He had that spell in Italy and then came back to the Premier League, but he hasn’t played as much as he’d have liked.
“Bur he definitely gives you that experience and he’s a Premier League winner.“
