Celtic news: Pundit shares Joe Hart prediction amid source's transfer reveal
Joe Hart could emulate Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor and end his career at Celtic, according to Alex McLeish.
The former Scotland manager, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 35-year-old has been “revitalised” by his move to Parkhead and will not need any competition in order to maintain his performance levels.
As revealed by Football Insider (30 April), Celtic are in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer as they look to offload big-money flop Vasilis Barkas.
As also detailed this site last week (29 April), the Hoops are rivalling Wolves for Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikin.
Quoted by the Daily Record (1 May), manager Ange Postecoglou hinted former England number one Hart could be first choice at Parkhead for “a lot longer”.
McLeish backed the ex-Man City man to see out his career in Glasgow after refinding his “mojo” in Scottish football.

“I don’t think he needs the competition,” he told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge.
“It’s good for the club, of course, but the mentality of Joe Hart means he won’t be affected by someone coming in.
“He’ll be playing for Celtic until he decides to hang his boots up.
“It’s a big club. Not many come bigger in the world, and the challenge of playing for such a big club has revitalised him. They’ve helped him find his mojo again.
“He’s got a touch of the Allan McGregor genes about him, and I can see him seeing out his career in Scotland.”
Hart is contracted until May 2024.
He has kept 25 clean sheets in 45 Celtic games across all competitions this term.
