Celtic

Moussa Demeble was hauled off in the second half of Celtic’s Champions League qualifier against Astana with the Hoops chasing the game – and supporters were not impressed.

The striker struggled to get into the game and his night was pretty much summed up when he led a promising looking Celtic break in the second period only to be easily brushed off the ball by an Astana man.

Dembele protested, but it was a fair challenge and further demonstrated the youngster’s need to toughen up a wee bit if he wants to be a success with Celtic.

The former Fulham frontman’s capture was a real coup for the Hoops this summer, but after just seven games in a Celtic shirt, some fans have seen enough.

A few Rangers fan getting in the digs:

Elsewhere in Twitter country there was one Hoops fan who called for a little bit of sense, especially since Leigh Griffiths grabbed a vital away goal to save a 1-1 draw.

In other Celtic news, Hoops were furious with another player after the Astana display.
