Hamilton skipper Michael Devlin claims Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele will be Celtic’s biggest threat when the two teams go head-to-head on Christmas Eve.
The Accies skipper was injured during the 1-0 defeat against Celtic on 13th December but he is expected to start the clash on Saturday afternoon and is preparing for a tough test.
Dembele has been the regular first choice striker for Brendan Rodgers but Griffiths has proved to be a valuable addition and the Celtic boss has often included both players in the side.
Devlin is aware of the threat the duo pose and claimed as a pair they are equally as dangerous, but even if only one plays, he will cause problems for his side.
“They both started the game against us last Tuesday, which was delightful,” Devlin joked in the Daily Record.
“Dembele played a wee bit more through the middle, Griffiths played off round about him. It doesn’t matter which one plays, you are going to be in a game, they are top-quality players.”
Celtic currently sit at the top of the Scottish Premiership table and they hold a commanding 14-point lead over second-place Rangers going into the clash.
They remain unbeaten throughout the 2016-17 domestic campaign and will go into the clash against Hamilton as massive favourites as Devlin’s side currently sit down in ninth place.
There are 33 points separating the two sides and after securing a 1-0 victory against Hamilton in the last outing, Celtic will be confident of extending their lead at the top by another three points.
