Celtic should give in-demand attacker an ultimatum: commit to club or leave
Once again it looks as if the transfer window is going to be dominated with stories about Celtic attacker Moussa Dembele.
This time the club reported to be interested in Broussia Dortmund, with French football website Foot Mercato claiming that the Bundesliga side have been in contact with the Hoops about bidding for the 21-year-old.
The Hoops can’t really be doing with weeks and weeks of speculation about Dembele’s future once again.
Indeed, Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers dropped Dembele from the team for a match in January against Partick Thistle as he felt that the speculation surrounding the Frenchman and a move to Brighton was affecting his game.
So the Bhoys must nip this speculation in the bud, and make an ultimatum to Dembele.

He has two years left on his contract, and the Hoops board should offer the hitman a new deal with increased wages.
If he decides not to sign the deal, the Hoops should sanction his sale as soon as possible.
It might seem like a severe thing to do, but the striker can’t have his head turned by speculation again, it won’t do him or the club any good at all.
If Dembele signed a new long-term deal with the Bhoys, it would be yet another example of the Hoops building and progressing towards the future, the first step of which was permanent signing of Odsonne Edouard.
Dembele knows that at the moment Glasgow is the place to be, he should commit to the Hoops for the foreseeable future and then win a move to one of the bigger leagues around.
