Kasper Hogh had far from the dream debut despite Celtic's narrow win over Dundee at Celtic Park on Monday.

Benjamin Nygren scored the only goal in the Hoops' 1-0 win on 3 August, with the visitors coming close to an equaliser several times.

Martin O'Neill's new big-money signing wasn't without his chances, however, and now footage of the 25-year-old is circulating online.

After his initial £11million move from Bodo/Glimt, fans expected the centre-forward, who notched 17 goals and eight assists in 2025, to hit the ground running.

He was an absolute menace in the Champions League, netting against the likes of Manchester City and Inter Milan, but some are already asking for their money back.

The Hoops still ended the game with all three points - the most important thing to note - but Hogh has a lot of adapting to do if he is to impress in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic have been 'Adam Idah'd again'

Footage going viral shows one of Hogh's four off-target shots, scuffing his effort into the side-netting after a smart touch from the striker.

Unsurprisingly, social media has crucified him for it.

One supporter was angry enough to suggest that Celtic have "had their pants pulled down," while another stated that the "experiment" is already over.

What did the stats say about Kasper Hogh's debut?

Even Hogh admitted that he requires some shooting practice after the move to Scotland, and that is a certainty, having registered zero shots on target [FotMob].

He also completed just 38 per cent of his passes, missed one big chance, was dispossessed once, won 25 per cent of his ground duels, and committed two fouls.

Hogh was getting into some good areas, though, taking eight touches in the opposition box, so his positioning on the pitch clearly wasn't an issue.

The Denmark international is likely to see his name in lights a few times due to the sheer number of chances created in the Scottish Premiership, but his debut against Dundee was a rather worrying sight.
