Chairman responds on Twitter to fan question asking if he'll sign 21-year-old Tottenham player

Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has not ruled out re-signing Tottenham youngster Luke McGee, stating the club are looking at multiple goalkeeper options.
The 21-year-old shot stopper spent the season on loan at the League One club, playing 45 times in all competitions which saw him keep 10 clean sheets while conceding 62 goals.
He was named the players’ player of the year at the Cambridgeshire-based side after a successful loan spell and it is clear that Posh fans are eager for him to return.
One supporter also took to Twitter to directly question if MacAnthony would be bringing the young Spurs goalkeeper back to the club.

But, while MacAnthony did not say he wouldn’t be making a move in his reply via his personal Twitter account, he didn’t confirm a move either.

McGee has never played for the Tottenham first team despite turning professional for the club in 2014.
He was however rewarded with a contract taking him up to 2019 in October 2015 and he is highly thought of in the Spurs youth ranks.
But, with both Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm in the Tottenham team, McGee may find that his future is better served elsewhere.
Football Insider verdict:
It is hard for any goalkeeper to get into the Tottenham team, let alone a youngster with the top class Lloris in the team and McGee may choose another loan move or even a permanent switch this summer in an attempt to experience more first team football. It is now just a matter of how much Spurs want to keep him and if Peterborough are willing to do a deal for the youngster to see where his future lies.
