Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that clubs in England and across Europe see the midfielder as a potential "bargain signing".

The England international's contract is set to expire at the end of next season, meaning Chelsea will be under pressure to sell him this summer to avoid losing him as a free agent and could be subject to offers below their valuation.
