Christiansen reveals why he was scared after Leeds win v Bristol City
By Danny Wright
Thomas Christiansen has admitted that he was scared during the flight home after Leeds United’s 3-0 hammering of Bristol City on Saturday night.
Members of the Leeds squad shared videos on social media of their bumpy flight as Storm Brian battered the British Isles at the weekend after the Whites picked up three points at Ashton Gate.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Tuesday’s League Cup clash against Leicester, Elland Road boss Christiansen has suggested that he was happy to be back on terra firma as they landed back in Yorkshire.
“I was afraid. Next time I’ll take the bus,” he said, as quoted by Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Phil Hay on his personal Twitter account.

Next up for Leeds is a testing clash in the League Cup against managerless Premier League side Leicester, who will be fresh off the back of an impressive win at Swansea at the weekend with Michael Appleton in caretaker charge.
The Whites will be without Stuart Dallas, Caleb Ekuban and Gaetano Berardi for the fixture at the King Power Stadium this week but changes are certainly expected to be made due to Christiansen’s reliance on squad players in the cup competition.
In other Leeds United news, Noel Whelan has claimed that this Whites player is overweight.
