Conte furious with 'lazy' Ndombele after Tottenham press conference reveal - expert
Alan Hutton has suggested Tottenham boss Antonio Conte will be furious with Tanguy Ndombele’s behaviour during the 3-1 win over Morecambe.
The former Spurs defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, slammed the “petulant” 25-year-old for walking off slowly and straight down the tunnel when substituted off.
As quoted by journalist Dan Kilpatrick on Tuesday (11 January), Antonio Conte refused to discuss Ndombele’s situation in public and revealed he would deal with the France international privately if needed.
The Italian boss went on the say “everyone is the owner of his gestures”.
Ndombele was booed off by the supporters against Morecambe.
Hutton insisted the midfielder’s reaction demonstrated his “bad attitude”.

Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “It’s attitude. He was very lazy, he wasn’t doing much at all.
“When you get taken off, you know it’s because you’ve not played well. He’ll know within himself he’s not played well.
“So get off the pitch as quickly as possible, you’re down 1-0, get someone else on who can maybe make a difference.
“For the fans to boo, then he slows down, takes his time and runs straight down the tunnel. It’s not good enough.
“It shows you it’s petulant, it’s a bad attitude, it’s not what you want moving forward. Conte won’t stand for that.
“It annoys me because I know there’s a really exceptional player in there.”
Ndombele has played 16 times across all competitions this season but has not been a regular among the starting XI.
His start against Morecambe was only his third in seven appearances under Conte.
