Contract cancelled: Nottingham Forest attacker axed, more to follow in late exodus - reliable journalist

Nottingham Forest winger Mustapha Carayol has had his contract with the Reds terminated with immediate effect as Aitor Karanka looks to wield his axe this transfer deadline day, according to a reliable journalist.
Paul Taylor, journalist at the Nottingham Post, gave the update to supporters of the Championship side on Twitter regarding the player’s future, revealing the Gambia international’s contract has been paid up which would perhaps signal a move to Ipswich Town.
It would seem that The Tricky Trees manager Aitor Karanka is not a fan of the 29-year-old after letting to player move on whilst under his guiadance at Middlsbroughg.

The journalist also said that the Reds left-back Armand Traore would similarly face the same fate, as a clear out looks to be on the cards.
Matt Mills was also being touted to depart from the City Ground by Taylor.
Only earlier today it emerged that Forest were being linked with a swoop for Newcastle United’s midfielder Jack Colback, but it was unknown whether the out-of-favour Magpies player would arrive at the City Ground on a permanent or temporary loan deal, if at all.
Aitor Karanka yesterday announced the signing of Portuguese defender Tobias Figueiredo as the club made attempts to solve their defensive issues.
