Paul Robinson showered Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah with praise and denied the idea that he was a frustrating player to watch.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the former England No.1 admitted he could watch Salah play all day long as that’s how good he is.
The 27-year-old winger started the 2-0 victory over Watford with him scoring both of the goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Robinson acknowledged that Salah may take more chances than some strikers to score but pointed out the attacker was always a threat.
The ex-England international also added that the winger was a great player to watch and claimed he’d be an asset to any team.
When asked whether Salah was frustrating due to how many chances he wasted, Robinson told Football Insider: “He wouldn’t frustrate me, I could watch him all day long.
“He’s a player with the ability to change the game, yes he may need a few more chances to score than some but whether it’s the first chance or the fifth chance, he’s always a threat.
“He’s a great player to watch and he’d be an asset to anybody.”
The Egypt international has scored 13 goals in 22 outings this season and has also racked up six assists in his outings.
Salah joined the Reds from AS Roma in July 2017 and is contracted to stay at Anfield until 2023.
The 27-year-old has appeared a total of 126 times for the Reds, scoring 86 goals and registering 35 assists in the process.
