Crystal Palace are aiming to appoint a new manager ahead of the summer and Thomas Frank is a leading candidate to replace Oliver Glasner.

Glasner officially left Palace last week after leading the club to Conference League glory against Rayo Vallecano.

The Austrian boss has departed as the Eagles’ most successful manager ever and will be tough to replace this summer.

Several out-of-work managers have been mooted to fill the Selhurst Park vacancy, while Lens boss Pierre Sage has been closely linked recently.

It remains to be seen who Palace will appoint as their next manager, with Frank still in contention, according to a top UK bookmaker.

Thomas Frank's odds slashed to be the next Crystal Palace manager

Frank was sacked by Tottenham in February after just eight months in charge, with the club rapidly falling down the Premier League table.

He has since been linked with taking several different Premier League jobs, but is yet to return to management and will be covering the World Cup for the BBC as a pundit this summer.

Sources recently revealed to Football Insider that Frank would consider taking the West Ham job, but they are set to stick with Nuno Espirito Santo after relegation to the Championship.

While Palace remain on the hunt for a new boss, the Dane has seen his odds slashed to 12/1 with a leading UK bookmaker to succeed Glasner at Selhurst Park this summer.

Who else is in the running to be the next Palace boss?

The Eagles are ramping up their managerial search after the end of the 2025-26 campaign so that their next boss will have the whole summer to assess his new squad.

The same leading bookmaker has Lens manager Sage as odds-on at 4/9 to be their next boss, as talks are reportedly underway with his camp.

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard comes in as the second-favourite in the running at 7/2 odds, while Dino Toppmoller is 6/1 as it stands.

Paulo Fonseca (12/1), Jose Bordalas (14/1) and Andoni Iraola (16/1) are each similarly priced to Frank with a top UK bookmaker.
