Sources: Crystal Palace make Hwang Hee-Chan transfer decision

Crystal Palace are unlikely to rekindle their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Hwang Hee-Chan this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Championship club have made the 30-year-old winger available for transfer after their relegation from the Premier League.

The South Korea international is also "interested" in a move away from Molineux after a tough few seasons at the club.

However, despite Hwang being heavily linked with a move to Palace 12 months ago, the club are not prepared to make an offer for the attacker.

Instead, the Eagles will look at other targets to reinforce their attack before the transfer window closes.

Hwang had a poor campaign last season as Wolves were relegated, as he netted just two goals in the Premier League.

Wolves may struggle to offload Hwang Hee-Chan this summer

While Hwang was one a top player for Wolves in the Premier League, those days are long gone.

The attacker has been abysmal at the club for the past two seasons, and it is of little surprise that Cesar Peixoto is happy to rid himself of the player this summer.

However, considering that he has only netted five goals in 56 appearances across the last two seasons will likely put off many potential buyers, including Palace.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if Wolves are able to find a buyer for Hwang in the final few weeks of the transfer window.

Who else could leave Wolves this summer?

Santiago Bueno is also heavily linked with an exit from Wolves in the remaining weeks of the summer transfer window.

The defender was one of the club’s few good performers last season, and won the Player of the Season Award after some solid displays.

However, the centre-back may be tempted to go elsewhere, and Ajax have recently been linked with their defender.

Bueno has also been linked with a host of Premier League sides over the course of the summer, but it is believed that Leeds United are unlikely to rekindle their interest in the final weeks of the transfer window.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if anyone picks up Bueno or Hwang before the start of September, with sales likely at Molineux over the next few weeks.
