Crystal Palace speak to six managers as they ramp up hunt to replace Oliver Glasner

Crystal Palace have now spoken to six managers as they look for a replacement for Oliver Glasner, sources have told Football Insider.

The Eagles have now accelerated their hunt, with the end of the 2025-26 campaign edging closer.

The Austrian coach is set to depart Selhurst Park at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Multiple managers have been linked with the role since it was confirmed that Glasner will leave, including Frank Lampard and Andoni Iraola.

Crystal Palace could also be playing European football next season, if they are able to win the Conference League.

Who has been linked to the Crystal Palace job?

One of the biggest links in recent weeks has been Iraola, who is also set to leave AFC Bournemouth at the end of the season.

The Spaniard has proven himself to be one of the best upcoming managers in the Premier League, turning the Cherries into European contenders after previously fighting relegation.

However, Palace may face a battle for his signature, with Chelsea and Athletic Bilbao also linked to Iraola in recent weeks as they also search for a new manager.

Other names who have been linked are Lampard, Robbie Keane and Gareth Southgate.

However, an appointment of Iraola would arguably be the most impressive feat if Palace can pull it off, with the manager improving year upon year at Bournemouth, despite the loss of several key stars.

Would Andoni Iraola go to Crystal Palace?

Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Iraola would only move to Palace in the summer if they were in Europe.

The Spaniard is keen to test himself on the European stage, which could tempt him into a move to Selhurst Park.

The South London outfit are long-term admirers of Iraola and could offer him a chance to fulfil this dream next season.

Palace are currently in the Conference League semi-finals and will play their first-leg tie against Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday.

If they are able to win the competition, they will automatically qualify for the Europa League.

Palace are heavy favourites to lift the trophy and will face either Rayo Vallecano or Strasbourg if they are able to get past the Ukrainian side in the coming weeks.
