Danny Rohl: What Celtic fans did to Rangers manager is ‘beginning of the end’ for him at Ibrox
Danny Rohl is facing major questions over his position at Rangers manager in the wake of their latest Scottish Premiership defeat against Celtic.
Rangers have now lost three consecutive league games against Motherwell, Hearts and Celtic, and the 3-1 defeat at Parkhead has sparked significant concerns.
The Ibrox club now sit eight points behind league leaders Hearts and seven behind their Old Firm rivals, with any hopes of a title win now dashed.
Former Man United assistant manager Mick Brown told Football Insider that the result could be damning for Rohl, who will inevitably face pressure on his position.
Celtic supporters were heard singing the name of the rival boss, in what could signal the beginning of the end and force Rangers to look for a new manager.

Brown warned Football Insider in March that Rohl is under serious pressure at Rangers and failure to mount a serious title fight could push him out of Glasgow.
In what is now set to be another trophyless season for the Ibrox club, frustartions are growing behind the scenes, and Celtic may have put the final nail in the coffin.

At Rangers, both the club and the fans demand success and failure to deliver always causes issues, with Celtic fans revelling in their failings likely to pile on the pressure.
“There’s always a lot of pressure on the Rangers manager,” Brown told Football Insider.
“For years, it’s been between Rangers and Celtic for the title and they’d always come up against each other in the cup competitions as well.
“All of a sudden, Hearts have come along and Rangers are in real danger of finishing third, which usually would be seen as a disaster on their part.
“So, that piled pressure on the manager, because the fans and the club have such high expectations and they want to be winning silverware, so missing out is unacceptable.
“Plus, when you come up against Celtic, you have to win those games. Never mind the others they’ve lost, beating Celtic is the most important thing.
“Coming out of that game having lost 3-1, dropped away in the title race and with Celtic fans singing his name, that could be the beginning of the end for the manager.”
What has Rangers’ stance been on sacking Rohl?
Recent results for Rangers have led to serious questions about Rohl’s future, and while no decision has been made as things stand, they could be forced into a call.
Before the top-six split, the Ibrox club sat just one point behind Hearts and were in a strong position to challenge for the title, but they have lost all three of their games since.

Football Insider revealed in March that Rangers had no plans to sack Rohl and hoped to stick with him for the rest of the season regardless of their league position.
Rangers are believed to have been happy with the work the boss has done since arriving in October and are not planning to look for an alternative.
However, having brought themselves so close to a challenge before dropping off in a huge twist of form, their expectations for the season may have changed.
