Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s management team have revealed on Twitter their star client has agreed to join Liverpool.
Colossal Sports Management trumpeted “deal agreed” on their account on the social media site on Wednesday afternoon.
They did not name Oxlade-Chamberlain but the hashtags of Liverpool and You’ll Never Walk Alone, accompanied by the club’s badge, made it clear they were referring to the transfer that has been much-discussed in the last 24 hours.

Colossal Sports’ website names Oxlade-Chamberlain as their blue-chip client and none of their other players has been linked to a move to Anfield.
It now appears that the 24-year-old has finalised the terms of a move from Arsenal to their Premier League top-four rivals.
This comes after widespread reports that Liverpool were given the green light by the Gunners earlier in the day to hold talks with the attacking midfielder.
Oxlade-Chamberlain had appeared set to join Chelsea after a fee of around £40million had been agreed between the London clubs but Liverpool have made a stunning last-gasp move to steal him from under the nose of the champions.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been insistent that he wanted to keep the midfielder and described his player as the future of the club as recently as Friday.
But it has been stated that the club’s stance has changed in the wake of their humiliating defeat at 4-0 at Anfield on Sunday and they are now willing to let him go.
In other Liverpool transfer news, the Merseysiders have tabled a fresh jaw-dropping bid for a dazzling attacker in a fresh to sign him by Thursday.
