Everton are close to completing the signing of Malaga ace Sandro Ramirez, according to a reliable journalist.
Times correspondent Paul Joyce claims the 21-year-old striker undertook a medical with the Merseysiders last weekend.
The message on Joyce’s personal Twitter account states the Toffees are “set to complete” their move for Sandro.

This comes after the Daily Mail reported previously that Everton were set to hold discussions with Sandro ahead of completing the transfer.
It was said have agreed a £5.2million fee for the Spaniard, after Atletico Madrid had to withdraw their interest due to their transfer ban.
Sandro was one of Malaga’s top performers last term, scoring 16 goals in 31 league and cup games, as well as providing five assists.
The 21-year-old signed for Malaga on a free transfer last summer from Barcelona after making 32 appearances in all competitions for the club, which yielded seven goals.
The three-time Spain Under-21 international is primarily an out-and-out striker, but he is also comfortable playing on either wing.
Football Insider verdict
Joyce’s message on Twitter will come as music to Everton fans’ ears as he is known as a very reliable source of information on the Merseyside clubs. If the Toffees are set to sign Sandro, it will be a huge coup for the club given Spurs, Atletico Madrid and Newcastle were also reportedly interested in him. He will provide them with another attacking option, and if Romelu Lukaku leaves this summer, he may even have to lead the line for them next term.
