Lord Alan Sugar has slammed Danny Rose for what he perceives as a lack of professionalism following a recent interview.
The 27-year-old full-back has suggested in an interview with the Sun that he may need to leave Tottenham in the near future in order for him to reach his ambitions of winning silverware.
He also added that he would like to move to a team up north as well as claiming that he isn’t getting paid enough at Spurs by saying: “I am worth more than I am getting.”
Former Spurs chairman Sugar, 70, has torn into Rose on his personal Twitter account following the revealing interview and has called upon his old club to get rid of him after his remarks.
“Disgusting article by Danny Rose in the Sun. Unprofessional and totally ungrateful . It’s demoralising and disappointing. Chuck him out,” said the business magnate on Thursday morning.

Rose has been out of action for Tottenham ever since he suffered a serious knee injury in the visit to Sunderland in January.
Ben Davies stepped up to the mark in the England international’s absence as the full-back positions are seen as one of the key positions in Mauricio Pochettino’s tactics.
Rose made 21 appearances across all competitions for Spurs last term, scoring two goals and supplying four assists in the process.
Tottenham kick off their Premier League campaign at Newcastle on Sunday, but go into the clash being the only team in the division to have not signed a new player.
In other Tottenham news, fans have gone berserk on Twitter after Rose’s comments, with one calling him “poisonous” to the club.
