'We have a very good relationship' – Club legend calls for Premier League ace to sign for Chelsea

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has called for Everton star Romelu Lukaku to return to his former club.
Lukaku spent three years at Chelsea between 2011 and 2014, before he spent a year at Everton and then signed on a permanent deal for £28million at the end of his loan period.
Since then the Belgian has scored 85 goals in 160 league and cup games for the Toffees and has become a key part of the side.
However following continued speculation surrounding Lukaku’s future at Goodison Park, after his refusal to sign a new deal, Drogba has suggested that a return to Chelsea is the move the Lukaku wants.
As quoted by the Liverpool Echo, Drogba said: “If he comes to Chelsea it will be great for the club.

“He knows the house already and I think he wants to prove he can be successful here, he didn’t get the chance to do it. He wants to be the best. He’s really working hard to become the best.
“I am always challenging him. When he scores one goal, I expect him to score two. We have a very good relationship.”
Lukaku only made 15 appearances for Chelsea in his previous spell and failed to score while at the club, after being brought in from Anderlecht as Drogba’s long term replacement.
However this season the 23-year-old has been in prolific form – he is the Premier League’s top scorer with 23 goals in 31 games.
Everton fans will be hoping they can hang onto their talisman for at least one more season, but must be increasingly resigned to losing him.
